Housing Arizona’s largest and only full size IMAX theatre the Harkins Arizona Mills was originally built by Double AA Builders in 1997. Completing a $5 million dollar remodel in 2021 Double AA added an in-lobby bar, electric loungers, upgraded projectors, self serve ticketing, new Covid-19 hospital grade air circulation filters and plexiglass barriers for both patrons and employees. Still serving their award winning popcorn all 18 screens and the IMAX are open again for the ultimate movie going experience.
