The McClelland Irish Library is located in downtown Phoenix, sitting 4 stories high and in sharp contract to the modern day buildings around it. Modeled after a Medieval Castle this Landmark Castle, Great Hall and Heritage Courtyard take you back in time surrounding you with Irish Lime Stone, giant custom castle doors, large exposed and site constructed trusses, custom arched window systems with Irish stone sills. This project required very close collaboration with the Design Team and Construction Management Team to develop each intricate detail into a work of art.
